ABOUT

Professor Gerhard Chroust is a renowned system scientist who currently is working as Professor Emeritus for Systems Engineering and Automation at the Institute for Telecooperation of the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU), Austria. With the experience of more than 50 years, he is also a member of the International Academy for Systems and Cybernetic Sciences (IASCYS). Previously, this distinguished professor had worked on Software Processes: Models, Enactment, Improvement and Support, e-Health, Microprogramming and Firmware.

In recent times, he has been working on Cultural Human Aspects of System Development; Formal Methods, Definitions and Programming Languages; Systems Theory, Disaster Management; Humans, Society and ICT; and Architectural Alternatives in Systems Design.
Dr Chroust has a total of 8 authored books, 65 proceedings (editor/co-editor), more than 250 scientific publications, over 600 publications in total and numerous lectures and seminars across the world.
